Primary Election September 5, 2006

 

Voter Registration Deadline: August 7th

Polk County residents who are not registered to vote, but would like to participate in the September 5th Primary Election, have until August 7th to submit their completed voter registration form to the Elections Office in Bartow.

Voter registration forms may be downloaded and mailed to the Elections Office at: Supervisor of Elections, PO Box 1460, Bartow, FL. 33831. You may click on the Registration Form Locations link to find a location with forms near you. Registered voters are reminded to update the Elections Office of any name or address change prior to Election Day.

Polling Locations:

Polls will be open September 5, 2006 from 7am to 7pm. You can locate your polling location on your voter information card. If you are unsure of your correct precinct click here and enter your address, or call our office at (863)534-5888, and we will give you your precinct number and location. If you move within the county, you must vote in your new precinct. Important reminder! It is a felony to vote in a precinct where you do not live on Election Day.

3 Easy Ways to Vote:

  1. Vote by Mail: To request any absentee ballot, click on the Vote by Mail link above.
  2. Vote at Your Precinct: Polls are open 7am to 7pm on Election Day.
  3. Vote Early In-Person:Vote at one of our convenient locations August 21 through September 2, 2006. Click here for times and locations.
