2020 PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY ELECTION INFORMATION
(ONLY VOTERS REGISTERED AS DEMOCRATIC OR REPUBLICANS MAY VOTE IN THE mARCH 17TH ELECTION)
Voter registration deadline: fEBRUARY 18th, 2020
Florida is a Closed Primary State. This means that only registered Democrats may vote for Democratic candidates and only registered Republicans may vote for Republican candidates. Registered voters with no party affiliation or with minor party affiliation are not eligible to vote in this election
Polk County residents who are not registered to vote, but would like to participate in the March 17th PPP Election, have until February 18th to submit their completed voter registration form to the Elections Headquarters in Bartow or at our Operations Center in Winter Haven. You may click on the registration Form Locations link to find a location with forms near you. Registered voters are reminded to update the Elections Office of any name or address change prior to Election Day.
