2024 REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY ELECTION
March 19, 2024
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 20TH 2024
Polk County residents who are not registered to vote, but would like to participate in the March 19th Republican Presidential Preference Primary Election, have until February 20th to submit their completed voter registration form to the Elections Headquarters in Bartow or at our Operations Center in Winter Haven. Click here for the online Registration Form Link to make any changes to your record for the March 19th Election.
Voter registration forms may be downloaded here and mailed to the Elections Office at: Supervisor of Elections, P.O. Box 1460, Bartow FL, 33831. Click on the registration Form Locations link to find a location with forms near you. Registered voters are reminded to update the Elections Office of any name or address change prior to Election Day.
Remember - Florida is a Closed Primary State. This means, per Florida Law, only voters who are registered as Republicans may participate in this primary to select their preferred nominee for president. Since the Democratic party submitted only one name as their nominee, they will not need to have a contest in this primary election.

- Vote by Mail:
Click here to request a mail ballot. Voters have until Thursday, March 7th to request a mail ballot for this election. All voted mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections by 7pm on Election Day. Return postage is paid for mail ballots. However, voters who prefer to return their voted mail ballots in person can drop them off at any of the listed Early Voting sites during Early Voting days and hours, or at the Supervisor of Elections Headquarters in Bartow or Election Operations Center in Winter Haven, weekdays, 8am to 5pm.
